Briefly, our range is as follows -

Rim Nightlatch

This is the type of latch that you will find on almost every entrance door. The latch sits on the surface of the door and has a sprung latch that will close into a keeper plate that it is situated on the door frame.

The latches are available in a wide range of options and finishes. They can be keyed alike, master keyed or have a common entrance key when used on a set of apartments. Nightlathes can also be supplied to the insurance standard BS 3621.

Mortice Nightlatch

This type of nightlatch has exactly the same functions as the rim nightlatch except it is morticed into the door and the keeper is morticed into the frame.

The latches are available in a wide range of options and finishes. They can be keyed alike, master keyed or have a common entrance key when used on a set of apartments. Nightlathes can also be supplied to the insurance standard BS 3621. Kits to adapt the lock for rebated doors are also available.

Bathroom Locks

A bathroom lock is generally used on toilet or shower doors where the person using the cubicle can lock themselves in for privacy. These locks generally work in conjunction with bathroom lever furniture. The furniture would have a lever and a thumbturn on the inside of the door so that the lock can be shut and locked, on the outside there is commonly a lever and an emergency escape mechanism that will allow the bolt to be unlocked using a coin or a screwdriver should the need arise to do so.

Mortice Deadlocks

This type of lock will purely deadlock a door. Its requires a key to lock and to unlock the door. Mortice deadlocks work using a series a levers in the locking mechanism and as a common rule, the more levers that there are in the lock, the more security the lock offers in terms of picking it. Locks are generally available in 2, 3 and 5 lever versions.

The locks are available in a wide range of options and finishes. They can be keyed alike and master keyed. Deadlocks can also be supplied to the insurance standard BS 3621 where the lock mechanism, bolt and keeper plate have been tested and approved for burglary resistance.

Deadlocks are commonly supplied in 63mm case size with 44mm backset and 75mm case size with 57mm backset. The locks are supplied in either a satin or brass faceplate finish to suit the associated hardware on the door. Kits to adapt the lock for rebated doors are also available.

Mortice Sashlocks

This type of lock will act as a standard door latch with lever furniture but it also has a deadbolt so that the door can be locked when required. The deadlock is as strong as that used in a mortice deadlock and is supplied to the same standards. Mortice sashlocks also work using a series a levers in the locking mechanism and as a common rule, the more levers that there are in the lock, the more security the lock offers in terms of picking it. Locks are generally available in 2, 3 and 5 lever versions.

Profile Deadlocks

A profile deadlock has exactly the same function as a standard deadlock with the exception that the deadlock mechanism is operated using a separate cylinder and key.

This type of lockcase is useful on a site that has an existing set of profile cylinders where the locks need to be upgraded. Also, it is a useful way of maintaining a keysuite on site as extra cylinders can be easily stocked and fitted or retrofitted.

Profile deadlocks can be supplied as either an oval or euro profile depending on what the clients preference is or which style is currently in existence on site.
